So I like licorice. Escially the rall good stuff. Double slated. Dubble zout? in Dutch? recall i asked the women who runs maggies (so… Maggie?) if there was a “Triple Zout”? and she feienged heart troubles like palpatations. there is something in licrioce that is bad. but how much is too much? for instwnxce, is it culamuated or just the currect acurte level?

then there’s this from the preort on a guy that died likely from eating mostly two bags of licrorice a day for a couple of weeks:
So excessive intake for me is ~2mg/kg * 110kg = 220mg of pure Glycyrrhizin, but sadly, without knowing the concentration of Glycyrrhizin in any given type of licorice, it’s going to hard to make any determination. also, no answer at the Wikipedia level (above snips). probably need to go deeper. links to some of the Wikipedia footnotes here:’
