what’s the word for “maybe this is a stupidly-obvious statement of common knowledge” when you write something that you think is profound but on re-reading it, sometimes immediately after writing it, you think :That’s fucking so obvious no one would think themselves clever for thinking it up and taking the time to write it down. Like hubris maybe?
