why the fuck can’t we get the basics of health care info simplified….

trying to fill in the health coverage info for the uhn portal; problem: i don’t have a card, so useing joan’s for now. note how even the simplest of info is called diffrent things on the card vs. the portal’s fields; also, no idea what her/my “subscription #” is.

luckily the “subscription #” is not required, since i was able to save the form
no, looks liek the portal didn’t save the info, since when i go back to check, tthe info wasnt there… i did press the “Submit” button as instructed… and then pressed the “Save or Cancel” buttn (wtf? am i saving or canceling?), at which the form closed and brought me cack to the parent page… where I noticed that nothing was saved.
however, it was my fault for not noticing thaat when I i pressed “Submit”, there was an error up page due to my entering “Canada Life Health & Vision” (they just wanted “Canada Life”…..
NOTE: since this error is up page, and there was no other notice about an error when i pressed ‘Submit” and then “Save & close?”, i did nt see this. so the info i spent 10 minutes entering (mostly trying to find the info…) was simply tossed away. as a minimum it should somehow either show my the error/missing info, or tell me as i saved there was an error, or as i tabbed out of the “Insurance” field tell me then. not just throw the info away.

alos, payor seems wrong… but it’s correct in this context. til

after this fuckery i at least seems to have the info in a pending queue:
