watched a few youtubes suggesting adding it to everything, like a third (salt pepper msg); recall the overly hyped and likely less than true for most “chinese food syndrome”; here’s the soc file entry:
msg – added 1g imply Ingredient MSG Crystal Powder, Yum Yum Powder, Umami Flavour Seasoning, Premium Monosodium Glutamate, Non-GMO, 325 gram to one bowl of my standard guacamole (2 avocados ripe, 2tb finely chopped red onion, 1TB garlic minced, pepper, 2xsalt, tajin, juice 1/2 lime, coarse mush
forgot cilantro, after joan specifically got it today for guac; will chop and serve it along side for mixing in or just sprinkling on top if desired.

2 perfectly ripe avocados, diced using the hedgehog method…
~2TB finely diced red onion…
… 1TB+ minced garlic, fresh chopped preferred, but here i use jarred for convenience…
…pepper, 2x salt…
… Tajin (tah-jeen)…
…juice of 1/2 a lime…
… ready to mash…
… after spoon or fork mash… some might like it this chunky, but i go a little further…
… a few stomps with the wire masher (i think really a pastry masher… not a pastry cutter, although that would likely work, too).. and perfect for dipping!
here’s the addition of 1g of the msg powder:
