TL;DR: the “Two Principles of Justice as Fairness”; economies can (should?) be organized two principle: everyone has a right to equal basic liberties, and economies must satisfy two conditions: everyone is equal in determining how to be governed and they must operate to give the greatest benefit to the least-advantaged.
Might be worth a read of this John Rawls fellow.
