mom gave us some meat from her freezer. packaged in butcher paper, so should be good. two are marked “Pork Center Loin Chops”, and there are 2 in each; we had one of these a coulue months ago, (link??); very good from the air fryer.
one package was unkmared,. about the same sze as the other 2 packs. so decided to thaw it an have with a baked potato and some leftrover remnants of our lasdt indian food run.
turned out some nice looking pork baby back ribs; looked up air fryer recipes, found it’s simple, so made them.
reult: delicious. no smoke ring or smoke flavour, non expected (but could it??); very moist, pretty tender. not fall off the bone like you’ll get with a low & slow proper smoker bbq, but damn fine. with Diana Standard sauce, the only BBQ sauce you need.
seeing how it’;s pretty easy and v tasty, will get the racks out of the freezer next week. that’ll be ribs x2 in a week coming up.
and of course, twice baked potato with cheddar cheese and pickled onions. homemade
