so i see the occassional omg news that the usa soybean industry is about to crash bad, due to china not buying any to date this season market year; but not hearing much in the mainstream, just in the nutjob places, or from the nutjobsd in the normie places.
so i had a chat with Gemini+… which i found fascinating! [expand Title=”fascinating!”]
[/expand] [note: trying both a link to the spock .gif and using the expand in-line code; the link to works nice with hoverzoom, and the expand shortcode does hide it but is ugly in how it breaks formatting]
tl;dr: there’s gonna be a lot of soybeans on th emarket if china doesn’t buy from usa as it usually does. no panic for china, since brazil looks to be able to supply them, and argentina is stepping in with a drop in export tariffs. making lots of news in the narrow soybean & ag news, but really not breaking thru in the msm [expand]i feel dirty saying msm…[/expand]; as i poiint out towards the end of the chat, the state of tik-tok is getting more press.
so is this the beginning of some very bad economic news in the near future? is this really due to tfg’s stupid tariff stance? are there other markets similarly poised for similar reasons?
