USB4 is the standard of the cable, while USB-Type-C is the connector type. A cable can be both of these things, or just one of them. What you need depends.

ffs! usb-c (connector) should be the final standard. and all protocols (USB3.x, USB4, etc) must be backwards compatible. one connector for the rest of time. or at least 10 years.
