He suggested the new rail project could look something like that: a corridor with trains that slow down when necessary, like when entering an urban centre, and speed up beyond 200 km/h along other parts of the route. The idea now is to have a single new corridor with stops in Toronto, Peterborough, Ottawa, Laval, Montreal, Trois-Rivières and Quebec City.
