and when did it become legal english spelling that the ending “y” when “ing” is appened you can keep the “y” instead of chaning to “i” (so “fry” > “fried” allowed) but “fry” > frying” not allowed (since changiny the “y” to “i” would lead to “friing” which is a no-no.
also when I asked google “what type of word is a verb that has the ‘ing’ ending”, i got another new word i like, which causes another blog posting.
