I call this Mini Pot Pies & Coquillettes dan Sauce Rouge du Chef Boy R. Dee. (yes, I know. there are no mini pot pies shown. use you imagination). We recently had “Canned Ravioli with Toast with Too Much Butter“. A large can serves us for a meal. But there is so much sauce (gravy? juice?) and I just couldn’t waste it.
Need to figure out cost; this might be the cheapest meal I’ve ever made. The ravioli juice is essentially free (we had plenty on our servings) + 1 cup elbow macaroni (0.24$?) = $0.06$ / serving. Mini pot pies were ~1.59$ each, so a “meal” for ~1.65$; also pair this with a hamburger, or snausages (1 biggun or 2x mediums per p),
TO-DO: work out the nutritional value of such a meal.

Of course, only the finest fresh-grated Parmigiano–Reggiano for this.
Here’s the nutrition info labels:
2024-02-13 – so found some leftover rice from last week, seems still good. so let’s combine that for another fine side dish.
2024-02-22 – did it again! leftover cbrdee sauce from the large can of ravioli (likely same in all their other stuff, since it’s all just red sauce, pasta shape, some sort of meat-adjacent paste… kinda like Taco Bell is 7 ingredients combinations in (what is # of combinations of 7 items taken 3 at a time?; 35 permutations? 210 combinations? or the other way round?)

— 2024-07-05 – this time with spiral pasta (Fusili?) with a couple raviolis that stayed in the bowl:
