— 2026-04-01 – Wednesday – sadly, after a 2nd repair on the opposite foot (see red Sugru) and a few more uses, I knocked it off the shelf; broke the floating valve mechanism. no hope of repair. recycle-binned. 🙁
— 2024-01-10 – broke in the tip-over incident that burned my right hand. tried ca glue (fail!); was going to use sugru, but it’s too expensive to open unless I have a number of things to do. how ’bout epoxy putty?
