Bakeries in Peterborough

So was reading /r/Peterborough, found out that Electric City Bakery closed for good or now?

Then saw recommendations for croissants, the only thing I think we’ve had from ECB. Freaking awesome croissants. Too costy for regular, even monthly. like every quarter it’s cool to have a oe. should be once a month.

Kit Coffee – local – /r/Peterborough thread

2023-03-12~ – Joan went; said the croissants looked like no big deal, so she bought a couple Pain au Chocolate and a Ham & Cheese thingy. I’m not gonna lie, these may be the best croissants-ish items I have ever had. I’m not sure if the are up to Alex’s standards, or if they’re “proper” style, but the Pain au Chocolate is among the best things I’ve put in my mouth. I very much want to try their actual croissants.

Hard Winter Bakery – local – impressive selection; even a bread schedule! should try their sourdough? yustabe at the downtown weekly market, now has a retail; is in an old house on Hunter in East City. Direct across from Foodland.

Cobs Bakery – chain, seems well recommended. thread. But no Peterborough location on their website? Is future opening?

Black Honey Bakery – Paul goes here. Be careful, there’s the Café on Hunter and the Bakery just around the corner on Aylmer.
