So I’ve been running “speed tests” for the past month or so. Results: we’re getting ~300Mbps most of the time; highest seen is ~425Mbps. We are paying for a 1Gbps (1,000Mbps) service. We are not getting that.
The fastest I’ve ever seen from Cogeco is in the 850Mpbs range. Contrast this to Bell Fibe, where I NEVER saw less that 1,000Mbps).
From my Home Assistant panel (once per hour)
From my PC using Speedtest.org, randomly as I think ti do it); the missing 9 entries are when i have my VPN on; these are no a valid test of Cogeco’s performance).

Probably. But likely they’ll just use the old “it’s up to 1Gbps”, no guarantees. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Yeeeeah, but at this point it feels like false advertising if it never hits 1Gbps, at any point throughout the day
Is a strongly worded letter inbound to Cogeco?
