By setting the voltage at which the light come on, you are able to set the level of darkness, not a specific time (e.g. 7:30PM). As the sun goes down, the voltage from the panel will drop; once below the setpoint, the controller thinks “dark enough for lights to come on”).
They lights will stay on until the “on duration” (now 3hrs) OR the battery voltage drops below the “PV OFF” setting (now 10.5???)
With these settings, 2020-06-20 (Saturday):
- lights on at 9:16pm
- lights off at 11:59pm (coincident with midnight??)
Probably battery voltage dropped below PV OFF setpoint, since 3 hours would be 24:16 (or 00:16)
Remeber: this device has no time of day clock; it relies solely on panel and battery voltags.
~2h45m is pretty close to the rated output; ??? 5.2Ah ???/ 2.4A (no dimmer yet!!) = 2.2 hrs.
