there are cusotm remotes, but usually they skew to the more complicated than simpler/. he’s looking for a remote with less buttons, so just rthe miniimum required.
my idea of a smart/dumb remote switchable might help, since the common mistake is getting hte more tinto a bad state that is difficutl to recover from, so instnaco n my av receiver remote if I waccidently press the audio fields change button the sound can get outright aweful, or if i change to radio fm input, etc,. or ht e buttons o ht erokeu that arwe greate for getting to a specific app 9netclics, etc0, but iue to haow rokue sells these buttons to the stramss, the buttons are fifferent on eahc remote i havee; condif,r. and i don;’t waht the spefic s in the remotes, and conat choose what they are, so i end of killing them by adding a small tab of etape on the internet contacts.
so, is there a programmable simpe remote?
might be doable on roku with roku app pn table or phone, but that has it’s own issues.
