while driving around recently, noted a new (to us) restaurant on the west side of George visible from the hunter/george corner; noodle squad.
checked out a meal similar to our usual from Saigon Boys:
yikes! 20$ more? tbf, not samesame… piclked pad thai vs. pork lo main.and the soup look a little more fancy (crispy pork? crispy fried egg? not ssure how that will work in a takeout.., a perfect crispy fried with liquid yolk is the target, and it will not survce the 15min trip from the restaunt to the table. )
they have reservations, so many this is really good food vs. the simpler Saigon Boys setting (which i prefer!).
