so there are 57k greenlander who would have to decide what do with tfg. polls have shown 85% against. bu what if tfg offers 100k$us for each and every grteenlander? that 5.7B$us, and i suspect would sway many. but until it happens we wont know.
apparently oldcold war agreement places no limits on what the usa can do with bases, so usa could theorectically expand over the hwole island? if no language in the agreement, and an asshole is in charge in the usa, what’s to stop tfg? this is the old “we trust only proper gentlemen will run for office, so no need for limits since gentlmen can be trusted to act rationally”
a similar thing is in chess, where a rogue move can lead to upsets, or a defense against a higlhy skilled knows all the openingsa and fdefences and etc, but can’rt find the right response to a “stupid” move.
