— 2025-05-29 – Thursday – mom’s tablet is very flakey, needs replacement. asked for a budget, was told $500, so assuming taxes in, must be ~350 or so (need a new case, so~30? + taxes should be approx $500; here’s my comparision between it and anoter very suitable (bt ~6 months older model; the few positivess it has over the chheaper one are no concern):
used bestbuy.ca to find, using the filters and reduced choice down to 5 or so, of which there are many deals. the Tab S6 Lite (2024) is the newest model, ~250$ is a steal!
