seems to be 13$ – 15$US discount for oil sands (WCS Western Crude Seelct?) vs WTI (West Tesax Intermediate?)
so if the costs to ship from oil sands to west coast or east coast (eastern gateway?) or ??? trucks to ship westcoast or even east coast.
but even then, what is the other countriies ability to process sour crude from oil sands? isn’t usa the only place with 4.5mbbl /day capacity? venz probably not effective or evcn operating. what about china? probable can be built, but how long? if significant, the oil can’t go there.

so it just comes down to what will it cost to get oils sands oil to refineries. but wikcked complicated system makes it hard for to have any idea how it will play out.
