there is a possible solution to this at the end of the article: send a gift card that can be redeemed for cash (if only into you amazon wallet, assuming they’re an amazon user; could also apply to apple music cards, google play credit, etc.? then the person is free to buy whatever they like, or take it out as spendable cash, or maybe even real cash; read the article for the deets.
