Musallam Tumasy (sp?) was my main contact at ?? in Saudi Arabia; this was during my visit to SA with Lawry L. while doing the install at Ramsis in Bahrain with Danilo F.); he invited us to supper, which we accepted; Lawry had mentioned I was very scientif c and logical, and Musaallam decied to play a prank on me; apparently this is an old prank, where you cover the bottom of a bowl etc with soot by holding a candle under it. then the mark (me in this case) is lead thru a series of steps about this magical bowl/candle/box etc, endsure the findegers go to the bottom of the bowl, then up to the face, thus marking the face with sdoot.
the got me. hook line and sinker. not sure if these are during or after I was told.
