saw this image. but as Paul pointed out, how did they get the photo of photos from both 1980 and 2024, yet both look fresh. i can thnk of 2 ways:
take high quality print of 1980 burger from wherev (advert, film, etc), put nevet to 2024 pic, adjust colours and stuff until they match.. trivial in ps, likely trivial with an llm image manipiulator.
could be a picture comapring the big mac to the rare, periodic “Grand Mac”. which i have never seen, but then i am not a frequent mcd patron. i’m not anit0mcd, but i thoiught they still had pizzaa like 5 years ago

raw notes here, typed inthe comments field of the .jpg file:
but where did they get a big mac from 1980? perhaps an old photo, high-res, calibrated,
and inflation in canada would make 1.20 -> C$4.41 (or usa: USD$4.58
probably a “Grand Mac” vs a “Big Mac”. weask some bigger, seasonal or on/off z(maybe like the mcrib availability follows the price of pork, once pork drops below a certain point, mcrib is back. same here with beef?
gm: 2 x 6th gm: 2x 10th lb patties which means gm= 2.7oz * 2 = 5.3oz patties, or a bit bigger than a qp. 33% bigger to be precise.
and a bm at 3.2 oz is ~20% smaller than a qp (patty only).
