so i bought Everclear-like product (Nickolai?), ~10$US for 750mls, for making a liquer or tincture or ¯_(ツ)_/¯. 190 proof, so probs not drinkable. for s&g I wanted to taste a bit, expecting way too hot. poiur 1/4 tsp into a shot glass, in the meantime talking to joan who wants a shot of Carolines (cheap Baileys); i absently poured the shot into the shotglass containing the Everclear, then askied if i could have a taste of the Carolines (to be sure not gone bad, of course); I take a sip thinking Baileys, getting everclear mixed in,, perhaps on top, intense burn in my nose and trhoat, actually asked for water from joan, but it subsided before she could react. just extremelt strong alcohol vapours in the mouth
which remonds me i need to see if i casn do a manly shot of swhickey like they do inthe movies; see here.
