sadly my original was stored with the plunger in the tube (if not pused all the way in, where there is a widening so the rubber is not compressed inthe tube) and the rubber is so old that it want expand backk. i tried warming it in boioled water, but still no workie. sad, but it got a lot of use, esp at camping, and on trips work.
looking at amazon.ca, it’s ~$55:
