Blogging as Personal Documentation (or why I put such nonsense on my blog…)

Testing testing oK this is a thought I had about how to make or how I make why I make blood posts about things such as the all the photos I took of the cleaning of the Seiko the expressing machine which I didn’t realize needed any sort of maintenance although I’m sure I rented the 91 I first went through it as I did so anyhow why do we do that well II like to think that somebody else might be interested in it it’s a form of documentation for me it’s kind of funny because I didn’t know I should have done it even though I should know that sort of thing doesn’t pretty good about maintenance on most things carcets oil when it needs it carcets rotation of tires when it needs it channel that seems to keep most of the problems away at least we’ve had very good luck that way so why would I anybody else care why would I share it well I for some reason I think Jeremy the Paul’s son who gave me this through Paul gave me this fantastic automatic I don’t think it’s a superimatic just an automatic because it grinds the beans makes the pluck pushes the water through and yelling up with espresso yeah the super automatic would also have foaming and injection of foam milk so yeah so for whatever reason I think Jeremy might be interested in seeing something about this particular expression machine that he gifted me which is awesome but truth is it’s that’s me thinking other people are like me because I don’t think in reality Jeremy has any particular interest in and is probably even may have forgotten about where did that old Expressway machine that we got for our wedding in at present now we never really use Ted we don’t like coffee or whatever the reason was so in truth II think this is what might be called projection am I projecting my well of course I want to know what happened to it I want to know its whole life story in the whole you know where it could go did it wasn’t successfully used but people be able to espresso did it go from person to person to person and they’ll find the Atlantic landed on a coffee drinker or coffee enthusiast that would take the time to learn how to do it so hence I stick it in a blog post I think right now that blog post is just the raw dump of the pictures I took when I did the cleaning I have to go and look at that but this might now take me to the take it to a 2nd stage where it’s actually consumable by somebody else meaning it’s at least moderately well grammar and spelling have been checked and make some sort of sense in the pictures are more or less in order but that’s a challenge because of the difficulty of handling calories and pictures on the web blog it seems being able to know a sense to the order of the files when dropped multi file dropped into a gallery in WordPress theme I’m using the ability to to move them around files around and reorder them is very very clunky and probably top much more probably difficult to do anything better anyways in a web based but that’s actually true there are probably gallery inputs or plugins that I can use but I just don’t want to upset the blog keep it simple so yeah that was turned into a ragged boat to blog software so yeah that’s why I think it’s worth this sort of thing and again it comes back to Ultra well I use the computer I like to use the computer for the things that we allegedly made these things for or made a particular hobby out of like for instance I tried to do recipe database I tried to do Dungeons and Dragons and you’ll see the spell or monster Magnum on day to days and well I think the first try was on a sink Timex Sinclair like John Thompson owned I think he had to I think I think he would 2K and I think he had the 2K expansion ramp but again I was still RAM I don’t think it was Rob so I can’t mark maybe cassette tape I couldn’t I can’t remember using cassette tape and nothing though but that was around the area where cassette tapes were used in the pets to transfer and recall the one that we had in grade 12 Westminster the between the physics the chemistry lab teaches women and bought together I think that that teacher turned into somebody fairly famous in the Combiner world or something back in the tea plug in the London commenter uses group was big enough they were pretty big into these back then anyhow that Pat had a built-in tape recorder where you would at lunchtime we would put it on the the land benches plug it in turn it on load put the tape in to load Star Trek and And then having to wait a couple maybe 5 I can’t remember exactly how many minutes as the tape loaded the program and then I don’t know a certain number of times maybe 105 or something like that times maybe worse the tape because it’s an acoustic coupler couple acoustic modem basically you’d hear the screeching and squawking of the of the program and data being loaded for an audio dot of tape and then it would it would just mistake a character as you get errors and this is probably before a lot of or you know the throws are just written in basic with no particular well you know very simple efforts to error check and the boot loader you know basically try to best and there was maybe parity checking but I don’t there was any check somebody i’ll look at of course check somebody came along later and lose the type in programs for magazines and first there was no it was just typing in and then try and find out where the errors were by trying to run it then it will error your there anyhow So back to the point of why did I do the blog postings it’s kind of like it’s kind of like journaling but the hyper texting and the linking and the multimedia and the three of the linking the ability to refer to other things and and combine I’d like to be able to do AC also anytime I make a posting as a minimum there’s tags should also not I think the tags isn’t visible enough in in the WordPress theme I’m using how I want to have their tags more visible because really that’s what allows us to find information buried anywhere is in the blog clauses got the right tag you can find it again also on tagging you should be able to do and or not in a nice way to do it kind of a graphical way and a little side channel where you can hand it all together tags or other search terms which I’m sure this must exist because it seems rather obvious would also be able to like to be able to do that in the when you make a hyperlink to a tag search so blah blah.ca slash? Equals dog boat full search the search for the tag dog I would like to be able to say search for the tag cat or dog so I’m just being able to or and then of course all the other necessary things to do command line type logic terms logic expressions we can always be kind of neat to be able to do it in a graph not a graphical but I just two boxes three boxes all your tags at the bottom drag them up into the and an box here in the end the inbox is added and then our boxes and then you know we’ll add it more and more so draw this up because it’s going to meet concept or you’re going to also be able to do it in a train track format like in is it called hang on The train traffic format diagramic programming lake in no red for instance or heck good old PLC ladder logic so I could actually just crank out things which I used to be able to I still can cause I sort of how I think I don’t wanna do any sort of automation okay so I think I’ll end at this point
