I want to make these simple Japanese-style Tamagoyaki omelette, like Chef John does here:
2024-05-14 – my first attempt did not go so well; tried it with slicces of Velveeta cheese; maybe should stick to plain until I figure it out. or filled with roasted sesame seeds? still delish. which means I just have to try more.
here ’tis on the plate; at least there is a little bit of layering. potato quality due to tablet.
next attempt: need a smaller pan, since making a thin layer in the one I’m, using takes up too much egg; to do 3 pourings would need ~5 or 6 eggs.
