recall when I lived in peterborough, so 12-13, building balsa wood model planes; “airplane dope” was used to harden and shrink the tissue paper; got a bit ripped one day doing a model. also, huffing lysol?? and other stuff out of a rubber herating bottle with some of the idiots I knwo in London (Sifton and his rich buddy that had everything).
