how I deal with greasy pork bones in green waste; wrap in paper towels (ideally the ones from supper), then into a paper bag, then into the green waste; since this is emptied to the bin outside every week or more often, this paper will keep the grease & etc. from becoming fly food or otherwise become a problem.
