2023-11-26 – today we had our usual (me: falafel wrap, Joan: chicken shawarma) at Ariyana. Excellent as always. For some reason they gave us a samosa for free (maybe we’re frequent enough customers?). Big, like twice the size of Samosa King‘s. Not sure of price; looked for menus; none I can find have samosas listed.
A++++. Huge. Might even be 3x the size of Samosa King (I wonder if this is a regional thing? and how pervasive is the samosa across india?). Very spicy (flavour) and a bit spicy (hot). Potato and peas, es expected. As good as any samosa I’ve eaten.
2023-12-31 – bought two samosas from Ariyana; just like first time, very good. Very large.
2024-02-14 – we bought 3 samosas from Ariyana; sadly, while fairly large, cannot say they were very good. The dough was very soggy. Tasted good, perhaps a little less spicing than before. Ate, so can’t be that bad. So that’s 2 good, 1 bad encounter. Will try again later.
