2023-11-18 – 510 cartridges, my preferred cannabis infusion device, are ~same~ price in the illegal (here a place in Roseneath) vs. Grower’s Retail (Peterborough’s first legal store), at ~C$30 for 1gram.
Of course, one big difference is the claimed THC, CBD, etc. should be trustworthy on the legal stuff, but who knows what the illegal cartridge has (no claim is made at all).
This doesn’t mean the illegal carteiudfge is less potent. We just don’t know.
At least the legal market has standards and testing requirements that should be followed. And given the potentual loss of licesne, I’m assuming they are doing so. just like I trust Seagrams to make stuff that’s free of bad things, I trust legal cannabis op[erations too.
