how much tax revenue is being lost by empty office space in large cities (elsewhere?); is there any offsetting savings for the city?
for thse that immediatrly argue “but welders/carpenters/etc could never work at home, so you argument is invalid misses the point; those jobs were never, and never will be wfh possible (until replaced by robots or self-dfriving vehicles cars/trucks/deliveries, although i am bearish on that in any near timeframe.
