army story, csb: one leave week I travelled to London in Jamie Gilles’ car; he boughbt a camerao used a few days before leave, just for the trip. 5 f us left rthe saturday morning; jamie driving., dave ?? roomate, teenage head freak, we had to sop once it got dark when jamie realized headlights were unreliable, wouldn’t stay on. quickly figurte out it was the high/low- beam foot switch, likely rustedd out. took a coupole hours to re-wire it so all we had was low beam, and crriede on.
this is the same trip where the dud sitting in the middle back drunk heavily, passed out, pissedhimself, got both me and other guy on right side a bit wet; pretty sure this was before noon that day; he gve up on the trip,m so only 4 made the full trip. i recall changing into sweat pants at the rest ara we stopped at.
