Project – use sound to determine bar appliances state

dropped this in from the s.o.c. file.

i should get a message when various appliances are done their ting
it should be possible to identiy the various applianced and such on the bar by sound, and send messages about what’s happening (eg, microwave is off, water is boiled, etc.
this would eleimiate the need for a way to determine what something is on or off, since there is no common intercae for these things; imagine a world where every device is wifi capable and implememnts a very simple mqqt type of server with published (or directly communicated format by the deevices) for the things one might owant to know from the device on/off/temperature/etc

ideally, use alexa device already there;
small raspberry pi with microphon?e
maybe teensy instead o fpi?
