See attached for a sketch of what I’m think for the back yard “rewilding”. Good for the birds & bees, good for mowing less, etc.
My thinking is just leave it alone and see what comes up. Cheapest, easiest.
Joan has idea to plant clover. Which is cool too. But we shouldn’t do more than just throw down seeds. Or maybe scrape up the top surface with the cultivator? But who do?
Your thoughts?
Is in backyard, so can’t see it being an issue. There are lots of front yards in the city doing this. Tried to find the rules on the city’s bylaws website, but too shitty website made me give up.
Paul likely knows. Or I’ll get him to ask Jeremy.
I’m afraid it will come up tall grass, and the city will come and cut down the overgrowth.
