i wrote this while watching that…
the saddest thing is how naive I was as I watched the Internet become readily availble via same. I was so excited that anyone could access the good information via access to journals, science blogs, etc. I never thought how this same technology would be used by bad actors 9this was before viruses, before ???). I also think we should hold people themsoves more accountable. Sure, Facebook, Twitter, etc are amplifying the worst since it gets the best egagement, but ultimately one chooses what to beelive and who deserves you faith in news,
also, we should use the term “machine Learning” instead of “AI”… but probs too late, as AI is pretty much burnt into the zeigesist by now.
