So what is gained by launching an attack on an obvious day like the 1 year anniversary? Certainly loses the element of surprise. Maybe a better idea is to have it 6 or 7 days after the anniversary?
Is it some sort of bragging or dick-waving? Seems pointless when you’re killing each other already.
