China “balloons” and such…

Some thoughts I had (and a wicked funny joke, if I could tell it right) after the 4th “object” shot down over Lake Huron.

2023-02-14 – if this all turns out to be weather balloons, the usual spy-vs-spy stuff (in case of #1), or research (#2, #3, #4) or nothing provably “bad”, then this is gonna be some egg on face for USA and Canada?

I get the “we’re just listeing harder now, removed the filters, adjusted the parameters, etc. Confirmation bias? but when did the dial get turned to 11? If right before, as in a day or 2 before #2 (as a result of #1 being visible and undeniable)? if so, that’s 3 objects in ~6 days? if this is typical, then there are a lot of ballooons out threre.

and if that’sw true (lots of balloonw, 1 every couple of days?, then why not more incidents with aircraft? or why idn’t there a syatem for registering these objects? seems like if you’re going to launch a balloon or rocket or drone and anything into the possible path of commerical aircraft, then it should be registered? or is this too onerous for such a low-likelylihood occurance?

2023-02- 12 – so now that we’re looking harder, we’ll likely see more or these; if so, this supports the idea that rhis has been happening for some time, we’re just now seeing them due to confirmation bias?”“In light of the People’s Republic of China balloon that we took down last Saturday, we have been more closely scrutinizing our airspace at these altitudes, including enhancing our radar, which may at least partly explain the increase in objects that we detected over the past week,” Dalton said.”

china ballooons is just a viral marketing campaign?

china balloons all sizes, shapes, altitudes: determining what the USA can and cannot see; send the 1st 65k high 3 buses wide, everyone sees it. so now USA must deal with it and subsequent (2, 3, 4) are found ’cause now we’re really looking, revealing how good our view is when we really want to see. “we” being usa, norad, etc.

Also, regarding the shapes:

Hmmm…. sphere, 2 cylinders, and now an octagon? I think China’s playing with a new toy…
