How I make a dirty espresso

A dirty espresso is one made in the uncleaned cups from yesterday’s espresso. Who needs clean cups? And the leftover residue at the bottom adds to the next cuppa’s flavour. Like friendship bread, a continuous chain of espresso is formed; some of the espresso from yesterday’s cups is in today’s cup. If the previous cup residue is in yesterday’s, then some of yester-yesterday’s espresso is in today’s cup.

Or is this a Ship of Theseus thing? As long as I continue this process, never washing the cups, am I just drinking a molto lungo espresso?
