my automatic reaction, perhaps knee-jerky, is this guy’s way off. i think if anything, the rwnjs in the usa made this a political thing, not acedemics or left leaning; if just the simple amsking and stay-at-home orders were done with good discipline, much of the c19 damage wouldnd not be done. and if anything, there maqy have been some overreaction, some too agressive ideas, some inequality cause we’re all different, etc. but did we fail on these issues due to just having to get this shit locked down; if we had just left it to the good old american work ethic and suych it would jhave been better? and certainly thisspilled over to canada, elevating a very fringsdre elements of western seperatists by a loud honkler festival in ottawa the nataion’s capital. should link to the writing i did on how they really messed up the first impression.
