using timers

using sight guards (if I don’t see the food, I will eventually forget about it, esp. if I am engaged in something that requires thought… not watching videos, but reading interesting stuff is enough. or coding anything.

rules:

  1. Select timers according to food:
  2. eat first bite (defined as?)
  3. start timer; put in between me and food it possible; this is why a physical timer works better for me. the little sand timers are perfect; linkl t omy post on how I store thme;
  4. while timer is running
    1. if i glance att ime and it is still gong, i have to restart it!~; return to 3.
    2. if timer is done, next bite; skip to 2

have to add this new rule for rate limiting: if I get a blood sugar <5, i can eat at my fast pace. timer goes away?

another rule: if I find the timer is too long, I am allowed to change it. at 3 mins, my pb & banana sandwich will be stale, so i changed to 2 mins for the 2nd half.

this should be some sort of mind map or state diagram?
