The Austin-Healey Bugeye Sprite is darling | Boing Boing – My Favorite Cars

Matthew asked what’s my favorite cars. This post is a list of cars I have wanted. In reverse-cron order, as is the way.

META: i made this as a blog post so ican add to it, and whne I send a link here, that person will see more of the same thing i sent them. for instance, paul has an interest in cars, as does mathtew; by sending this blog post to them, then can enjoy or otherwise i can shore mre of what i’m interested in. Like the ~1963 Ford Mercury Breezeway my family owned.

And of course, the Jaguar XKE:

The Autin-Healey Mark 3000. My mother’s work friend had one, I got a 15-minute ride in it. very cool, so low to the ground. felt like riding in a go-carrt. it had a dashboard swtih that did something to make if accelerate way faster. not sure exaclty. just a big-ass on/off switch. sadly, i was not licesnded yet; that didn’t hap[pen until i got out of the army in ~86. failed my 17yrold driving test. first try.

Austin-Healey Mark 3000:

  1. Why not both?

    Ignore the below….

META: can I attached gifs here so I can use “Meme Speech” like the cool kids do?

META: this is an excellent example of how a blog post is very useful for this sort of info. If I keep this updated, anyone, including me, and refer to it later. Or can send the link to anyone who might care. And careful use of notifications can keep this surfacedf to those who might want to know. Obviously not that meaningful a post, but imagine if more topical or interesting. The alternatives (chats, twitter, email, etc.) all have problems. And relative to my “2nd brain” thoughts, this becomes the best place to get me current thoughts on my favorite cars. But replace “my favorite cars” with “my *.* thoughts”, and this is my 2nd brain.

META: how would one make a lnk to a blog post or anything from a comment? I want to link to the search for tags “brain2” to make that rathole accessible from my rablings above. maybe a setting??

TO=DO: find if can make links, insert attachemnts, etc from comments.

If you read this far, it’s your fault. I told you to ignore this.
