The 6 reactors are shut down, but stuff needs constant cooling, perhaps for a long long time. perhaps just the spent or extracted or non-energy making fuel needs cooling. regardless, requesi constant power, which niormally comes from the grid. but thoese lines, last rmaning? are now damaged. but works has begun t of fix. like any modern country, theyu have plans for this, spare partds, dpare towers, cranes, etc.

From the article, ~10 days fuel remains for these generatoers.:

” Plant engineers have begun work to repair the damaged power line and the plant’s generators — not all of which are currently being used — each have sufficient fuel for at least 10 days, the IAEA said.”
