Since can’t seem to create a post from the GitHub page, here ’tis.
Seems to me most of the work in setup is the whole local rpi -> AWS -> create ann SMS -> sent SMS to phone of rpi? But he did say in the faq that he wanted to do the AWS stuff as a learning exaample, so makes senss. on a local network, just mqtt is required?
also, would be my idea to listen for not just a “bark”, but baylie’s specific bark when she wants in. it is quite distinctive. and gets more urgent when a few barks are required.
