So while watching Star Trek – Strange New Worlds, s1e5, a light sail ship was shown. But I thought if photons have no mass, and f=ma, witt m=0, then f=0, so no force? How do solar sails work, as I believe we have already used?
turns out photons have momentum, from where I don’t know. Maybe tht mass/enmrgy equiv Einstine kept yammeriong on aobut?
