World’s Biggest Cruise Ship Has No Buyer, 1st Voyage May Be To Scrapyard

An unfinished mega-liner that was to be one of the world’s biggest cruise ships by capacity is sitting in a German shipyard, waiting to be scrapped, because bankruptcy administrators can’t find a buyer, according to cruise industry magazine An Bord.

TL;DR: just the lower, but floatable/towable, lower hull.  might be towed to scrapyard if no buyer soon.  So might never be a ship.  But can they re-use the name?  Given the way ship names are treated by sailors, I bet not.
