Set a timer by just saying the time you want it for: “Echo, 10 minutes” will set a 10 minute timer
Easiest way to gather info is to treat everything like a grocery list item. By defauilt, Alexa will add “things” to the “Shopping List”; so “Echo, add shampoo” will result in “shampoo being added to you “Shopping List”. No need to say what list, since this is default. Shge’s respond with a “OK, I’ve added shampoo to your shopping list”, which ius an example of a very too long response. There shouyld be a very preoif mode where she just sez “OK”, and an extemelt brief mode, whre a positive beep is given.
