My answer is always “I got the first vaccine available to me”…

… to the question “What vaccine did you get?”

My original thought: “i am purposefully not telling what vacc i got. no value”

Except to your doctor, of what use is knowing what my specific vaccine was?  The best science said “Get the first shot you can!”, aka “wide & fast” was the overall Canadian response (?? needs checking ??) to vaccination.  Which seems to be a good strategy.

If some sort of “passport”, digital or otherwise becomes the norm (de rigueur?), it should only state “Vaccinated after yyyy/mm/dd”.

Also, as with all medical info, another simple answer could be “none of you business!”.

I can see some not taking this answer well.  Like what am I hiding?  Or “He’s not saying ’cause he got the worst one”.

I suspect to seem some stratification (balkanization?) into the various vaccines & combos.  Especially if one of vaccines severely underperforms.  If you don’t have the “right” or “best” vaccine, no entry to my country (state/province/night club/restaurant/etc.).  There was some tension between NS & NB ~3rd week of June 2021 that might be related, although I think that might have been about 1 vs 2 shots.  It might be illustrative of the nonsense we might see.

Do we really need another thing to differentiate each other?
