Similar argument about Mt. Everest climbers. The rich can afford to be essentially carried up the mountain. Probably need to pass some minimal health checks.
Also, as space travel gets more routine, don’t need ex-fighter pilots; witness latest SpaceX Crew 1; looks nice & comfy, with little to do but watch the pretty displays and pray something doesn’t go super wrong.
