We were never in a lockdown.\u00a0 Even 14-day quarantines were very soft; my mom & Larry had to quarantine (and they did, per my mother) after returning from Florida in early-mid-April; completely on their own recognizance, at penalty of a fine (I think); need to ask mom for certain.<\/p>\n
“Lockdown” is likely? what China did.\u00a0 When your building|block|neighbourhood|city|province was locked down, you did not leave the house.\u00a0 I recall seeing videos on the ‘chans, unverified as usual, of aparmtnet doors being welded or barred shut.<\/p>\n
At no time was anyone in Canada or the USA in such a lockdown.\u00a0 There was never a time where we couldn’t go out to get essentials.\u00a0 There was no official “stay at home”, no outsies lockdown.\u00a0 Region traval was discourged.\u00a0 Locals might tell you to get lost, and I’m sure the occassional hand-panted sign could be found.<\/p>\n
And now we have pandemic fatigue?<\/p>\n
